YIKES! Reminds me of one section of trail up at Jim Thorpe called the "strip mines". The trail followed the edge of one of the mines and while most of it was safe, certain sections of it had a severe "consequence of failure" quotient. At least 100 feet to fall, assuming you didn't get impaled by a tree first (you couldn't really see the bottom from the trail). While a few guys rode it (Jay DeJesus), the rest of us walked those sections. This was 20 years ago and I understand the entire trail network up there is different due to some forestry activity or something.
