A Wookies return.....

I'm starting this in a selfish attempt to help my motivation. You all know I'm sick and it's tough getting back on the horse...even if it's a machine outside a Shoprite...you older folks will remember those. So I will post my rides and try not to laugh too loud...I WILL improve, I'm just battling a disease and the drugs they are pumping in me to keep me alive. Fuck cancer and its evil, it picked the wrong guy to mess with.

I’m actually at a loss for words.
Frank was so pivotal in the early mtbnj days, he understood something about the community that we, or at least I, hadn’t quite discovered yet.

He stayed with us through the Avatar Wars, weathered the pun intended storm of the Winter Shoes thread..

Frank was awesome.
He was our friend.
I’ll miss him.

About 10 years ago, a number of you generously chipped in to get Frank a fatbike to thank him for his long-time committment to the NJ trail cause. I had the honor of hosting him for his first ride. We hit up Sandy Hook for a "three hour tour" I'll never forget. Frank took every opportunity to roll over all the rocks, splash into the waves, and explore the flotsam and jetsam that litters the Hook. At one point we came across a natural gully that resembled a huge half-pipe, consisting entirely of sand. We sessioned that gully like two skaters, laughing and whooping like kids.

Frank was one of those rare individuals that was humble yet larger than life. Rest in Peace my furry friend.

What can I say about this guy... Impossible to be sad around him. Probably one of the most universally loved guys I have ever met.... It was a privilege to have known him

You made an indelible mark Frank and you will live forever
