While the night time temps dip below freezing, it's the daytime temps you should be aware of. 50'so predicted today will soften the ground and create muddy conditions. 6 mile is the worst place to ride during the freeze thaws cycle.

The first one was funny, but this is when you go from being funny to not. Let's be somewhat serious, that is why you guys hate on newbs for destroying the trails but when people ask about trail conditions you go and post stupid stuff like this.

I was at Chimney last night (6PM, so not enough time to freeze allday when it reached to 4-45) and I would say that place was good. The top layer is soft but the bottom is hard. No puddles just frozen ground and some soft dirt.

I will go to Hartshorne then. do you think its ok there?

Hartshorne should be fine. I may have seen you last night , I was going down yellow and I passed two dudes coming up. I was done by 545 though.

Don't mind kevin, he is the resident db.

We were getting dressed by then. We saw two guys at the baseball field lot ride by heading to White. Maybe that was you? Around 6 or so.

I know you probably missed it in his thread, but Iggy had just posted about CR not being good for the weekend. The gif simply stated the same thing. Last night, things were still probably pretty firm as it didnt get that warm yesterday, so 50 today, not freezing tonight and you have totally different conditions for Saturday.

this sucks. and when it freezes it will be a frozen rutted bumpy slippery unfun break an ankle...need I go on
 
Was out walking around early this AM. Looks pretty frozen as far as I can tell (on red/white). A few tire tracks in the snow but not many.

You should be ok as long as you are off the trails by 10 or 10:30 latest. The surface turns from frozen to pudding really fast once the sun comes out.

Be prepared for tons of frozen ruts from less considerate riders.
 
Was out today from around 7-8 am. Frozen solid (obviously, it was 17 degrees). Disappointing to see so many spots that got abused in mud and are now a frozen, rutty mess. I guess these turds just think the trails will fix themselves.
