Someone has been making the trails a little more cx bike friendly. There are no log overs, they have all been removed or a bypass has been added.
I have been working my ass off with our new bike shop, so I have had little time for TM this summer. Once the new shop is open, I will be out there making all thing right again. I just ordered a TM secret weapon too.
If you see shortcuts: PLEASE close them down. Take a second and throw a ridiculous amount of branches and debris over any shortcuts you see.

A huge thank you to whomever went out and blocked the couple shortcuts that have started to pop up. You did a great job!
I have been religiously putting debris (whatever I can find close by and drag over) on the corner cuts that keep popping up, but the next day they are tossed aside. So any help getting some BIG debris on them is super appreciated. (I plan on spending some vacation time next week working on it, but any help before that is always welcome) 🙂
While I am not a fan of logs, I do appreciate them as either a challenge to try, or an excuse for a rest. What pisses me off is the person who thinks they can go out there and either build them or cut them up without any prior permission from the park steward.
This also bugs me to no end, stay off when wet! If you must ride when it is wet, why not SLOW down, go SLOWLY through the MIDDLE of the puddle, and stop skidding in all the corners, or walk through the puddle if you dont want to get your bike dirty. Look how wide and ugly this section has become 🙁
Think of the hours it will take to fix this. 😡
Any volunteers wanna help me fix this next week? bring a shovel.
going to be a tough spot to remediate - didn't we do a reroute to bring the trail up there a few years ago?
Over the winter I am going to move this section closer to the field edge.
It has become a lake unfortunately.
I know this place got drenched on Friday. Any idea if it will be ridable this Sunday?
