6 Mile Run Conditions

rode mid day today, tree down on blue, pretty close to where it meets up with red. also the long bridge that crosses over the river has about 4 or 5 stumps laying on the end of it. you can walk the bridge but I wouldn't suggest riding since there isn't a safe exit. stumps/tree parts are about 3ftx3ft each. not sure exactly how they got there as they appear more clean cut than broken off

Did you ride with Mitch?

This morning...

My bike is gone, thankfully those guys came along to save me 🙂 stuck in mud.jpg

i walked a bit of the canal side yesterday morning. it was in better shape than I expected. Even the clay areas i saw that get real slick when wet where actually almost tacky....almost. but then I was walking not on tires....maybe it was more slick than I thought?

but then it poured again last night, so....

based upon what I saw, I wonder if maybe with a few days of sun it will be rideable by Saturday. maybe? thoughts...

I rode the canal side and as far as the concrete bridge this evening. Mostly dry but some mud in the usual spots.

Anyone closer than me know if the trails got rain this morning? I know it poured in east Brunswick but not by me near chimney rock. Wondering where the line was drawn. Trying to get in an ride later.

I was there this morning and started to rain lightly, but only lasted about 20 minutes. With the exception of a few mud puddles, trails were great this morning! However, on the white trail just before the bridge and the random wooden table on the side, there's a HUGE tree blocking the trail.

White Trail

Rode the white trail late afternoon. Here's a picture of the tree located near the picnic table/bridge.
