6 Mile Run Conditions

Friend of mine got clotheslined by fishing line on the metal bridge on blue last week. He saw young kids watching from the bushes and laughing at him when he hit it. Be careful and unfortunately, keep an eye out for the future shitheads of america out there.

This is highly dangerous and very illegal.

I take this very very seriously.

Please have your friend make a report to:

Main Park Office
D&R Canal State Park
145 Mapleton Road
Princeton, NJ 08540
Phone: 609/924-5705

If this happens again it may be important to have a history documented.

Had a friend 20 years ago die because of some asshole stretched a line across a trail and he Caught it under his helmet at speed on a dirt bike . I would take matters in my own hands if I caught them

This makes me so mad. I can't put it into words

May I suggest that if you ride at 6M, keep a gopro/camera handy and if you see them, snap a photo of the little creeps.

Conditions update:

Wet

Everything green has exploded

This place is a no go this weekend. Trust me. The puddles have grown deep and rutted.

Blue and white are very dry except for the little stretch before the metal bridge. Nice ride tonight, didn't get to the 27 side.

The area on blue where it drops down from the field to, (and including) the 200 foot bridge is getting thick.

It's like being on Safari. 🙂

thanks. i can't get out there tomorrow, but i'll get out there soon and cut some back. i think i know what spot you're talking about - the grass is too damn high!

Some of the overgrowth is fun, adds a sense of foreboding to the ride. Until you collide or almost anyhow with someone. I'll be out there tonight and I'll try and clip some of the more jungley areas.

it didn't suck today at noon.
the tacky is lacking in most places, replaced by the red dust.....
