Since last Monday, I've picked 9 zucchini. A few cherry tomatoes.

My Jet Stars are turning yellow - starting at the bottom. Is this a disease? My other tomato plants are fairing well.

I might not be the best advice source (see my garden pics lol), but....Pull the yellow stuff starting from the bottom. A lot of people pull all leaves/branches below the first fruit, so you can be pretty liberal. Also make sure none of your tomatoes have any leaves too close to the ground, it's a pathway for disease. Good luck pinpointing what it could be, I was googling tomato diseases the other day ad my head was spinning. I always just pull the dead looking stuff and hope for the best.

I don't think there is anything unusual going on here. As the fruit starts to ripen, it's normal for the leaves to turn yellow/brown starting at the bottom of the plant. FWIW, I don't remove any leaves from my plants as I view it as part of the ripening process. As long as your air circulation is adequate, they shouldn't cause any disease issues.

My cherry matoes are just starting to change. I have noticed that I don't have much fruit as of now on the other tomato plant and I swear some disappeared, will havfe to investigate further.

Strange growing season this year
All plants bolting as expected in July but as others have said not much fruit

Bugs taking to greens, organic garden so no pesticides

IMAG0944_1.jpg Going away 5 days left me with Barry Bonds zucchinis, still good enough for bread doe.String Beans are done will start a second planting along with lettuce again. Sunflowers are 9+ feet holy cow...

So far cucumbers and kale have been our only successes. A few snap peas here and there, but not enough volume for a meal. This is the first year, so not sure if they'll take off more towards the end of the summer? Strin beans have grown like crazy, hopefully they'll start producing soon.

@qclabrat Our one rose bush has been doing great, maybe its juts a crapshoot this year.

Lots of zucs and good ones this year too. Started picking cherry tomatoes and upon assessing some deer damage found that either my neighbor stole most of the green tomatoes or birds eat they. Either way FFFFFUUUUU

Our snap peas are done. They don't seem to like the heat. Pulled them and planted some root veggies for the fall. Wasn't a great season for the peas. Our green beans are starting to show.

i like to plant my peas and pole beans in the shady part of the garden, seeds go in late May and usually harvest till end of July

last year birds started pecking holes on my large tomatoes, nothing so far, but then again none are ripe yet
have a Asian pear tree I am monitoring closely this year, last year wrapped each pear with deer netting, then one weekend when we went away all 30 or so near ripe pears were gone, no signs of leaves on the ground, therefore assume the job of a hungry neighbor or a very cunning squirrel family
