We slapped a child bike seat on the back of an old mt bike. I rode to a playdate on it for the first time last week with it. The little one loved it! She even has a little helmet with bunnies on it! "We are for bikes!"

I would have to comment that adding time in between classes would depend on how long the course is. Speaking from my experience last year, when I was always dead last in sport, I would relish the longer courses b/c then I wouldn't be getting passed in my 2nd lap and still have one more lap to...
