Just a bit. I probably shouldn't have pushed for an answer that I knew might send it in this direction.

I'm really just interested in how things should begin to be eased, what metrics we should be looking at, what types of businesses should be open and under what restrictions, how does testing play in to this, etc. Because I, personally, feel like the overall response has been appropriate given the potential for mass casualties, but at the same time think that we do need to be looking to how we can best come out of the restrictions and where that balance of risk is. So I'm trying to wrap my head around the appropriate response. And it's hard to get to an informed discussion on that when people are embracing conspiracy theories that seek to reinforce their underlying political biases.

subway/bus is running. good article on reducing the number of trains, created more density on the ones left, which may have helped spread

My wife works at a little 3 letter company that starts with "A" and employs 250,000 people. She just told me they anticipate keeping employees out of the offices for months. Total socialist power grab!

The corpus self selected into the group that is willing to go out.

The state randomly tested 3,000 people at grocery stores and shopping locations across 19 counties in 40 localities to see if they had the antibodies to fight the coronavirus, indicating they have had the virus and recovered from it.

Probably doesn't make much difference. I bet most testing positive had it before or during the big shutdown

Right. There are pandemic simulation and response exercises all the time. There's no conspiracy theory associated with one being done in the lead up to the COVID-19 situation. It's only been a handful of years since SARS and Ebola. We'd be completely negligent if we weren't trying to figure out, at a global level, how to better prepare and respond to these types of pandemics. The conspiracy theory is in suggesting that this exercise either predicted or led to the COVID-19 outbreak.
 
I agree. But the socialist/globalist strategies they used to "fix" the pandemic is what is going on right now. Dive deep into that website and find what people were saying to use to implement the agenda 2030 socialist strategies... It's all there. You know the saying "Never let a good crisis go to waste"

I'm not sure that I've done an adequate deep dive, but reading the recommendations coming out of the exercise they all read like fairly common sense, non-controversial, strategies for reducing the overall impact of a pandemic and not as a backdoor to global socialist rule.

it simply follows from the belief that the pandemic is not the big deal that it is made out to be.

If this is the belief, then there must be a reason behind the action -
hence the conspiracy theory - the question is at which level, and who is being manipulated?

It stands on the grounds that the alarm was pulled for nefarious reasons, and the deaths were
reasonable casualties to further the agenda.

can't have it both ways tho - it either is or isn't a serious pandemic.
i kept hearing that it isn't, then it seemed like it is now, and being used for cover.

next conspiracy - they already have a vaccine, so that is why it will be done in record time.
it can then be distributed as another tool of control.

gotta be up on all the latest.

Trump is tied to the company that has the patent on hydroxylchloroquine which created the cv19 virus and released it at Wuhan. And now... Blaming it on WHO and China for accountability while cashing in on hydroxychloroquine.
