Book of Paul H

The first time I went out to California I was like, "oh, so this is what mountain biking is." I still call what I do here mountain biking, even though we don't really have any mountains.

Remember Natasha Henstridge? What happened to her? Yes... I was watching Species
Huh... So you are genetically modified sexy model that's had a few divorces from Canada that doesn't know good scripts from bad (according to her bio on the interweb)? OK She seems competitive to me. Oh I get the similarity she likes to drink wine and have a smoke every now and then. Still, HUH?
Your better then you give credit for yourself.

To add fuel to the fire.... its called mountain biking! Where is the mountain? (I ride my Hightower with DH gear at 6miles)
Also... @Mtbdog is a roadie! (who can kick my ass on a mtb)
😛
Yeah, NJ,s Highest elevation doesn’t even classify a mountain and even though PA has almost double the high elevation of NJ, no peak is more than 2000 feet above the surrounding area, so no mountain biking there either.
by franks definition, this isn’t mountain biking either:

Because I only climbed 300-400’ to get up there.

High Mountain... says so in the name

So that is 6 mile?

Everyone gravitates to the type of MTB they have available to them. HM was a fun park to visit, and I’m 100% sure I only saw part of it.... but if I have to drive an hour plus, I’d rather go to Jungle, DP/Stevens, Creek, etc..... though to be fair, that “space mountain” trail, I think that’s what it’s called... was awesome.

Likewise if I'm driving a distance I'm not going to 6 mile, but Sourlands. I agree you play the hand your dealt. I have nothing against 6 just not mountain biking in the true sense of the words. If I lived in the area I would ride the heck out of it also. A lot of work has gone into it to make it a viable spot to ride. Just like if I'm going in the other direction I would hit up Port Jervis with it's elevation and nicely groomed trails.

Would like to gravitate to MCBP... but since its not free...

Baldpate, but doesn’t fit your definition, short climbs, only have to look ahead 30’ at any given point. Rocks per mile is low too.
Then thank you by proving my point. Not 6 mile. That is what we were talking about correct.
