[A Potted Plant]

Finished up putting back the Talon to a flat bar bike and took it out for a test run. Did a very short trail ride and this rigid thing is rough... where do you guys ride your rigid bikes other than Allaire and 6MR? Keeping in mind this is a skinny 27.5 bike. To be fair... the tires were pumped up to 40-45 psi from its Fredkenstein days.

What my old fork? Take me out to kbbq

i've run rigid ss at cr not horrible.
sounds like you are overfilled with air by 2x.

Nope... I have a RS Recon that I can use if needed. Besides... also have the RDO.
But I want to give this rigid thing a try.

Yep... will get the psi down when it goes on a real trail ride. Maybe I should goof off with it at HM.... but I might die.

Lol. You're used to 150mm travel and plus tires on your local trails, so that's an obvious result.

2.25 NN and just dropped down the psi to 28/30 and it feels better... but I think I understand why guys go rigid and SS.
You don't want to be sitting on the saddle on a rigid!

I weigh 230 and run 20 front 22 rear on a hard tail and I am no light rider. You will be fine

I weighed 187 today. Had 3"/2.8" tires in the picture above and ran 14# on each.

I run 18/20 on my 650b 2.6 and 20/22 on my 29er 2.4 and both are NN Addix.
But that 650b 2.25 NN Performance... I'll try 25psi tomorrow and see how they feel.
