Official: 2017-2018 mtbNJ.com Fantasy Football League Thread - GUACAMOLE CUP WEEKEND!

@fidodie, I'm not sure this is 100% accurate but I cannot find a way to make you in the top 4 https://www.theffhub.com/Home/PlayoffMachine?site=ESPN&leagueId=826501&userId=

I have me losing every game and you winning every game...

you beat @jnos. J and I end 8-6, i win on points. (does not mean i'm going to win on points, but it is possible. i think)

insert 'we are counting on you' gif with leslie neilson.

Utar could also end up 8-6. isn't going to happen, but could (then you end up w 9 wins.)
if you end up with 8 wins, there is a shot at beating you on points too.
or am i reading the points thing wrong? is it total PF to break a tie, or head-to-head?

i stand corrected, i just kept assuming i would lose all the way in, so i wouldn't hold your breath lol

THE SAUCE IS STILL SIMMERING

This @jnos team is HOT right now.

I think that @jnos team is going to be the favorite here, barring anything drastic. I see the Duck Dongs fading in the playoffs and the Kamara/Brown Train will drive off into the sunset. Still, 2 weeks left before this, so anything can happen.

Kiss of death right here. Brown will tear his ACL celebrating a touchdown and the Saints will decide they want to be a passing team again and Kamara and Ingram will rack up 5o yards total per week.

I had the vision to pick him off waivers but stupid enough to let him go, instead of letting go Aaron Jones...

Alvin Kamara is the New Orleans Saints' best running back in Fantasy

Apparently this was too mild a take because on Twitter the most common response I received is that Kamara is the best running back in Fantasy. Period. And you know what? They've got a point.

Since Week 6 Kamara has scored 128.4 Fantasy points. That's more than any other running back. Remarkably, he's done it on just 97 touches (every other back in the top five has at least 120 touches). He's done it with incredible efficiency, averaging more than 7 yards per carry and 10 yards per reception.

At this point I'm not sure what more convincing you would need. Kamara is the best running back on his team, and right now he's the best running back in the league. He's also just 22 years old and should be the No. 1 running back in any Dynasty rankings.

maybe utah puts me out of my misery tonight....
I highly doubt it... however it is about the only thing that makes Houston vs Baltimore even remotely watchable..... I mean Tom savage vs Joe Flacco.... Oh boy this should be a thing of beauty

I guess being FF player is about the only that can make this game watchable. Since being a fan of the game roughly since about '72 and I remember 69 super bowl jet fans. This game today is horrible, unwatchable. We now don't know what a catch is, Really!

my guy draws a huge PI penalty so your guy can score.

image is totally unrelated, but i find it disturbing enough to post.

Seriously, it’s hard to watch a full game anymore.

here we go again...

Miller will never outscore Hopkins with Savage at QB...there is just never a time where the Texans wont be playing from behind and passing on 2 of 3 downs.
giphy.webp

And good god Joe Flacco 24.5M this year...#1 in the NFL until Stafford just got his deal....Anyone wonder why the Ravens have done 0 since winning the SB in 2012?

Great example of a week where I was on the fence with some of my picks so I went with the projections...All of which were totally wrong. Fuck Pittsburgh with a rolled up yellow towel.

that's why I watch real FUTBOL....but play fantasy AMERICAN football....

Week 12 Scoreboard

The biggest surprise was The Sauce in a shootout over the Nanies, that was a nail biter. Seeing the 26 inch wheel crew double up on the spoiled guac was a shock too. That might as well have been a playoff game!

Current Standings

So it looks like my previous post was wrong, the playoff hunt is still alive for @elzoller and @fidodie, on the outside looking in. Next week will help make this make more sense, just too many scenarios that could shake this up. It looks like the only lock currently is Kevy and possibly @UtahJoe, right?

Week 13 Power Rankings

1)
@stb222 - Long Duck Dongs 10-2 (0)
Another week, another win. Somehow with a short bench and 3 OPEN SLOTS. Proving everyone wrong that it isn’t luck, or is it? Hard to say the team that is 10-2 is the cinderella team this year, but man, everything Kevy touches turns to gold.

2) @jnos - Still Riding 26” Wheels 7-5 (+2)
This team is on fire right now, and this is the one that can truly win the whole thing. With Brown and Kamara playing lights out, I don’t see anything getting in the way.

3) @UtahJoe - London Silly Nanies 8-4 (-1)
Tough battle against the Sauce, tons of points scored but still falling short. Gronk was balling out with his wang out.

4) @fidodie - Mariani Sauce 6-6 (+3)
Knocking off the Nanies in a high scoring matchup. The Kelce/Fournette trade doesn’t have a clear winner, but the gas is being applied a little too late to make it into the championship playoff. Still mathematically alive, but needs some help.

5) @pearl - Guac Deez Nuts 8-4 (-2)
The WR roulette wheel keeps spinning around, with Hogan, Shepard (dropped) and JuJu all injured, Cooper goes out and gets annihilated in a heated game. It seems that @pearl will be looking for the sanitation department for warm bodies to fill in the WR slot, since the wire is bare. On top of that, Mariotta is a piece of shit. It’s going to be a miracle for this team to actually win a playoff game.

6) @elzoller - Team El Guac-Oh! 6-6 (-1)
The steam is finally running out on this roster. How things go from one extreme to another. Crabtree is still WR #1 ROS in the WWE fantasy league though.

7) @jmanic - Pocket Dogs 5-7 (-1)
Bad time for a loss at this point in the season, and it knocks the Pocket Dogs and the rookie manager out of the playoffs. Seems like just about everyone was still under the tryptophan effect of Thanksgiving.

8) @Chris26er - Crash Bandicoots 3-9 (0)
Where was this team all year? Big points this week; Keenan Allen finally turns all those targets into points but Hunt is eating cranberry sauce out of the can. Hell, Blake Bortles has more rushing TDs than Kareem Hunt since Week 3.

9) @Carson - Team LumbarGate 5-7 (0)
A year of “What could have been” with sweet dreams of David Johnson playing all year. It took a while for the effects of losing the #1 overall pick, but they are showing now. Redemption lies in the toilet bowl for this squad.

10) @jShort - Too $hort - 2-10 (0)
While @jShort gives nice birthday gifts, his fantasy team sucks balls.

@pearl or @UtahJoe will get to the playoffs with 1 win out of the last two.

@jnos has control of his destiny - win-win and in. This puts @pearl in jeopardy cause the rookie wants to play spoiler in week 14!

interesting twist for me, @jnos wins out, this could put @elzoller in a match against utah to get in, and perhaps knock utah out!!!
(although making up over 100 PF deficit in two weeks could be tough for guac)

The avocado and tomato still in the hunt!

3) @UtahJoe - London Silly Nanies 8-4 (-1)
Tough battle against the Sauce, tons of points scored but still falling short. Gronk was balling out with his wang out.
Too kind....Trusted the "expert advice" over his instincts on Kenny fucking Stills vs that Pats....I deserve to be whipped with a belt for that decision. You know in 16 years that TB12 has been the starter...Miami has never won a game in Foxboro.

when 4 of us finish 8-6, and K & J are in, yes - total points for is the tiebreaker.
