I didn't think so.I don't think the moonie can fit that beast in the back. They have been coming in at 5.2" average also a much taller tire too.

That's quite a townie bike, you probably also drive a Raptor to pickup 2x4s at HomeDepot
Just the front for now, I don't think it will fit the rear, but I'll try when I switch over my studded Dillinger 5's for winter, if it ever comes. For now it's this monster.Just the front or the rear also?
Went out today and put ten miles on my new Snowshoe tire. The thing growls like mad on road and dirt alike. I only rode double track at Wawayanda which is pretty muddy and rocky. This tire took everything I could throw at it, great! I rode the beach too. Best front tire I've ever had even though it's heavy and noisy. I don't care about weight or noise, crap, it's a Moonlander! I ran 6 psi on the trails for now, I'll go lower in snow. When I first mounted it on the bike it had 20 psi. and rubbed slightly on the right side. Dropping psi to 12 the rub was gone. I always loved my Bud tires, but I think this one is better. I didn't notice any self steer. I kept waiting to loose air and go flat but I kept giving it more and it took it and rode just fine. I went the fastest I've ever gone on dirt roads and I did over 20 mph on the blacktop and the tire handled great.Need a first ride report ASAP! 🙂

Lake Wawayanda is frozen!!! I walked out 10 feet on it today AND jumped up and down and I lived to tell about it.
Now, if I can only remember where the warm springs flow.
Old thread dredge.
Man did I get my chops busted last night. I had torn the drivetrain off the new/used ride, apparently the owner had used roofing tar for chain lube. This is the second bike where the owner took decent care of the bike but must have used something really tacky for chain lube, creating a lovely wet grinding compound. So I took all that to work and doused it in the parts washer, it was nasty. I was going to replace the chain but let's see how it holds up.
Then I decided to do a post/seat/clamp/stem merry go round and discovered with a longer stem the shifter and brake cables are too short. I ordered a middle length stem (only had 40mm or 100mm to play with) and had shifter cable and housing in stock, but I might have to redo the brake. Which means I gotta re-wrap the bars, a project I've been wanted to try anyway plus the color sux. Overall it was just one of those wrench sessions that nothing went smooth.
Sweet! Let's ride man. Haven't seen you in a year. Is this replacing the other road bike?
