Way better than the open-ended The Soprano's ending.
I love Breaking Bad and watched it from the beginning. The finale was great, but there is just one little thing that wasn't completed quite to my satisfaction. Jesse just drove off. There was no indication of what happened to him next. I would like to have seen him in handcuffs or with a ticket to a tropical paradise (not Belize) and a bag of cash.

Been waiting to find out who that ricin was meant for and was pleased to see it end up in Lydia's coffee. She definitely used up her 9 lives throughout the series and I knew her demise was inevitable. Her expression when Walt answered the phone and asked her how she was feeling was priceless.
I was rooting for Jessie all along. Despite many of the horrible things he has done, he's the only one that had a conscience and was truly remorseful.

Incredibly profound yet fantastically flawed
I expect there will be a few people who take the same issue, but I think from the standpoint of the series, it's unimportant. Jesse is the only one of them who you could be sure wasn't going to commit any more crimes. In fact, there is only one person alive who even knew he was talking to Hank at this point and that's Marie. And she's going to be so happy that Walt is dead she won't even give that a second thought. And Jesse wouldn't have taken any cash anyway. When Walt gave him $2MM, he was throwing it around because he looks at it as blood money.
Yeah, the way Walt just explains to her that she's dying and there's nothing she can do about it and that he killed her and then he basically hangs up on her was awesome. Walt without Walt's ego is a lean killing machine.

Yeah, i like how they actually wrapped everything up, instead of leaving a bunch of loose ends open for interpretation.

Maybe it was the hype that ruined it for me. I only read two things on FB that said great ending etc and the anticippation at work was killing me. And to not click on this link. I just watched it tonight. Sure it was a great ending, no loose ends but it was a little unbelievable. Cop spots a car covered in snow on side of road and takes off? How about check if the driver or passengers are safe? He sneaks into one of the wealthiest estates without an alarm? Do you really think the DEA would really take their eyes of Skylers home? Jack's entire crew was perfectly positioned in front of the automatic. As unpredictable as this show is, the finale was the most predictable when the keys dropped from the sun visor. It just didn't fit in. Everything else up to this point was a heart pounding edge of your seat ride but I guess it was a proper "falling action."

You're right, Manny. Everything was a bit too perfect. If Kenny made Walt park his car where he originally wanted to, Walt's plan would have been foiled. Hell, what if he searched Walt's trunk? Walking right in to the Schwartz's was a bit unbelievable too.

The finale was great, it couldn't have lived up to the insane amount of hype. I loved that he finally told Skylar, the truth "he liked cooking, etc". Yeah it was convenient that all the Aryans were lined up perfectly for the carnage but I was ok with it. Him inspecting the lab, like a teacher inspecting a chemistry experiment was the perfect way for him to die.

I read some of the complaints about that set-up. But remember, Kenny told him to park somewhere else and when he didn't listen, the guy did say, "No -- over ... oh whatever." I think that's perfectly reasonable, especially when you consider that Kenny thoguht they were going to kill Walt anyway. And why would they inspect the trunk? This guy is more of a criminal than they are and they believe he's out of money and desperate for more, so they didn't even consider him any kind of threat. Remember -- they easily took $70 Million from him. That fact alone would make them think he's not going to be all that much of a threat.
