Caffe Latex

One thing I heard/read about, CL are changing the formula, or adding a quicker sealant. I read it some where, I just do not remember where I read it..

Isn't there a CL rep on this forum?

Yeah, of course. I filled it yesterday morning and it was fine during my ride and up until I went to bed last night. When I got home today it was dead flat.

I can't believe you dignified my question.

Stans is 0 for 5 on Pythons. I think the most I ever got was 10 rides. Least was 2. This last tire was 4 rides, and it was the front, at Hartshorne. I have a tube in it now which is asking for trouble as I know I'm going to forget.

Ive been using the CL with 2 different wheel sets. A front and rear python, and with 1 Toro in the front and a python in the back. Full Squish and Hard Tail.
Since I made the original post Ive had 1 flat. I slammed the rear tire on rock very very hard and I actually snake bit the tire sidewall.... It didnt seal, but i dont think any sealant would have sealed up those holes. I had to junk the tire all together.

I get a kick out of hearing the sealant swoosh around in the tire at first, but as soon as it foams up you dont hear it. Pretty cool stuff.

While on the subject.. I know that this is your first run in w/ a tubeless setup.

Any thoughts on the ride quality/ Traction???

To early to say. My first ride was all about how good it felt to be on a bike that fit, and how quick and nimble it was. My second ride was all about enjoying suspension for the first time in a long time.

I will have to wait till I get this flats issue taken care of, then I can start fiddling around with the pressure, etc.

Still going strong can't say enough, I know that Stan's would have been dried and done by this point. Still plenty of slosh and I run ridiculously low pressure. Yes their have been puncture leaks but once you rub the wound and give about 2 air refreshes they seal. My luck and opinion is the complete opposite of Jdogs never could get Stan's right. Do agree if CL comes with filler then it's complete winner, so for now will keep going with Caffee + glitter...

Holy crap this stuff is expensive. Add shipping and this comes out to over $40. WTF?

Yes, but I got six wheels done and enough to do 2 more out of 1000mil. That's 8 tubes at $5.00 a piece not bad for the extra benefits of being tubeless...

Do different tire/rim combos work better than others? My front rim has an Ignitor and I have had no problems. But with my SB8 on the back, its been flat every morning.
if you're on the short end of the stick some Kenda tires aren't too lucky with Stans and they don't recommend it either

Ok, ok, fine. I ordered. Now I need to find some glitter. I guess this barbie doll's hair will do. Can I just shove the whole stupid doll into the tire and kill 2 birds with 1 stone?

Is it not more efficient just to shove the 2 birds in there?

maybe you should throw a rabbits foot in there... You know, for good luck?
