Things that make you frown :(

Growing up I feel any car over 10 years old had rust on the wheelwells. 20 years old it probably had full on rust holes. Now it's so uncommon.

I found it funny going to Quebec a number of years ago and noticing how many cars had rust on the wheelwells. Whatever they use on the roads for snow up there would make @Carson cry.

First paint bubble on Suburban. I mean, it is a Chevy so kinda expected but it's located at the rear wheelwell where I stand when I'm getting ready to ride. Never there before, just kinda popped up.
Same thing happened on my 2013 F-150. The bubbles kept popping up out of nowhere.
Once it starts it never stops, I traded it in on a 2020 al-u-minium body F-150.

If it was 10 years old I'd be less annoyed. It's a 2017.

I passed a Ford Pinto on the road the other day. Looked like it has been a DD since new and had as much rust as you'd expect.

UPS now charging for handling shipments from abroad, not tariffs just a plain fee to handle customs even if there's no customs to be paid. Which they did even before but now they charge for it. Legally authorized looters.

Did they do a revaluation this year?
Ours up staggering 25% in Neptune. Turning 65 next week so didn't qualify for freeze or stay program this year. Applying now for next year though. We noticed the house value didn't go up, which you can argue, but the land assessment did. So tough to reevaluate. Property is property.

Yeap. We bought nearly 3 years ago so taxes were based on the pre-covid pricing, now much closer to what we paid for valuation.

I figured an increase, not 40%! Oh well, can't complain if they put in more bike lanes.
My property is assessed at half its market value. Unclear if my "senior benefits" will save me if they value it at market price. 5 years and no revaluation yet.
