Things that make you frown :(

Last, and every paycheck , federal taxes were still being withheld from my earnings and paid to the government, for government. I have no choice, per my employer. I also checked, I’m not getting what I’m paying for. Nope, Wally World is closed. Isn’t that fraud? We are paying for something and flat out not receiving it. These fuckfaces couldn’t agree on a dessert topping, much less how best to act like decent humans or put my taxes to best use in running the country. It’s not a small dollar amount. Cut off their pay and benefits and see how fast they work together.

unfortunately the people holding this up all have more than enough money to not give a shit about missing a few paychecks.

Usual direct flight from NC to NJ: 2 hours

Today's ordeal:
NC to Chicago: 2 hours
4 hour delay
Chicago to NJ: 2 hours
(As of right now)

Needless to say, I won't be doing this trip again for a while until I can either get direct flights again or just drive up with Steve.

I'm really cranky right now... TSA was pretty bitchy in Asheville (I get it... They have it rough right now) but apparently everything in my bags looks like a knife today. Mind you, it's the same damn shit I fly with all the time. And we were literally on line to board when they made the delay announcement. Yadda yadda

I'm not driving in that direction anytime soon. I escaped, I ain't goin' back!
 
we are stuck in Phoenix. Our flight was canceled between the time we printed our baggage tags and I put my bike on the scale. The next open flight direct to Newark isn't until Tuesday. They rebooked our flight automatically to LGA. Our car is at EWR. We thought PHL would be better...oh, and airlines not responsible for paying for any incidentals due to canceled flight since FAA is the one who canceled.
