Acoustic is the correct term.
Analog devices still use electricity.
no you have bikes, which are human powered, and ebikes, which have some level of battery powered assist, no need to reinvent the wheel in terms of what you call it.

So what do you call bike powered by a robot?
I go both ways so I can be a dick to everyone...because if you're gonna be able to coast, change gears, and stop, might as well just get an eBike like a fairy 🤣

We're proud of you for admitting that in front of everyone.I like Amish
I'm not admitting, I'm bragging. LOL.We're proud of you for admitting that in front of everyone.
I love that Amish market in Flemmington!I'm not admitting, I'm bragging. LOL.
But do they ride e-bikes? I think if we can spot an Amish person risking Eternal Damnation for a little pedal assist on the way to the market, then we should call this thread "case closed" and move on.I love that Amish market in Flemmington!
Their store does have electricity so I'm not sure how that works....

I like it!Ooo, eHorses.
Perhaps you missed the squirrels running on treadmills attached to alternators out back?I love that Amish market in Flemmington!

Where do you see yourself upgrading? As in a stronger motor, better range, lighter weight? In other words, what are you looking for in your next eBike now that you have miles and hours on one?Maybe the ebike whiners should also give up there e powered appliances. Maybe go back to the rivers to wash your clothes. Give up your dishwasher and microwaves. Throw away your air conditioning because your not living the hardest life you should 🤣.
I went through the first couple pages of this thread, it was a good read. Poll still shows almost 50% of the crowd still haven't even ridden an ebike, I suspect that's changed. I was one in the very beginning that was semi anti, but the more info I read that sentiment changed. Then I decided to make the leap and never will look back. Honestly I dread the day I have to jump back on the Amish because of a mechanical. I'm one of the few who doesnt switch back and forth because I am having way to much fun on pedal assist. This bike has added more challenge terrain that my pedal bike could never take me.
Much love to all Amish or E assist because we all have the same goal!
