didn't have a problem - also didn't go below 6psi cause JV said not to.

will wait for his wisdom.

6psi and higher seemed to defeat the purpose of fat tires

4-5 psi felt like just the right amount of tire deformation for my weight. Don't come anywhere close to hitting the rim. For reference, according to my high psi floor pump, I rode tubeless 29x2.4 at 17psi and 700x41 with heavy duty tubes at 25psi with no issues on the same trails as the fat bike

maybe my low pressure gauge reads low

Part 2. Installed said wheels. Pretty straightforward rotor swap and Zinger setup. Went down to a 17t but spacing was the same so that's always nice. Should probably clean my bike at some point.

New wheels arrived today. Flow CB7’s. Tires and rotors happened to be on the same delivery truck. XT cassette was already waiting patiently in the basement with CushCore.
Fuck CushCore installation. Fuck. That. Noise.
I’ve never used soapy water for any tire install, including road tubeless. I used more soap than I’d use to wash my car. And I can’t feel my fucking thumbs.

Lol I just use whatever the fuck is sitting around at this point...so lately it’s been the 5w-30 I run in my car. would the 10w keep it from pouring out of the ruined seals every time I flip the bike? 😂 such a dumpster fire but she still sends.
