What have you done to your bike today?

New rubber on the Phoenix. Taking it on its maiden voyage Sunday to Creek.

Just swapped to a 2021 36, put a longer air shaft in right out of the box. Gonna try it out tomorrow...

Also messed up the chainstay somehow and the carbon is fraying so Trek pulled through and sent me a new one. I’ll probably install it next week

I got the same ones last week. They work great and are so light!
I think they will be serious competition for cushcore.

will have to get a ride in on them and report back, i wrestled them into the tires last night. 🙄

On one of my tires I didn't have the side-notch of the insert lined up with the rim's valve. The tire didn't seat correctly when I inflated it (holding air but the tire was off center in a spot). Then, I couldn't completely deflate the tire because air was trapped inside. I spent an hour trying to break the bead with different clamps. Tannus tech told me to unscrew the valve and push it inward to release the air which worked. I set it up properly and all is good now.

I can tell you if you go flat your tire will NOT come off that rim!

yea i discovered that this morning, one tire was flat (leaking around the valve 🙁 ) so i had to take it apart and replace the valve. what a shit show that was. although 2nd time getting them on was easier.

most suprised by the weight of the cogset in whole. Pretty respectful. Shifter kinda bulky but action is super smooth. Derailleur definitely is legit, not some piece of garbage, very optimistic about this groupo for $180.

Learned an embarrassing lesson. When ordering a new dropper post, make sure you pay attention to the overall length. Duh, but I should have known better.
