View attachment 43909 Samuel Smith's Celebrated Oatmeal Stout. Good, but not great. But that may be because I rarely seem to drink stouts and so perhaps I don't appreciate this one enough.

I pretty much just drink Stouts. Its my go to Stout when I don't risk trying something new and just want a good beer

I will have to try more stouts. Maybe that will have to be a goal for next year.
I'm Planning to go to the Trap Rock brewery or Tabor Road Tavern this weekend for my birthday, and I think their stout may be one of the more interesting beers on their menu.

The 'little friend' from MIA (?) miami area stout was excellent. solid 4+ with
caffeine, nicotine, chocolate, and a bunch of other subtle flavors happening.

Seasonal release.

Most excellent dessert beer. Had it after munching some grilled octopus. Was an excellent counter to the char.

Spiced with blueberries chocolate and vanilla, aged in bourbon casks. The nose hints of sweetness over the smokey, chocolates somewhat like ten fidy.

The sweetness covers the tops of the mouth, a blast of blueberry quickly fades. Small bubble feel. Leaves a nice coating of flavors. Very nice.

The wife brought this home tonight. She always says "not sure if you will like this one" but so far she does a good job picking beer.



Oh and this is awesome when you heat it up

7% keeps it light. They should release this in July. Nice citrus. Clean, long lasting flavors.

No need, BiL was the only other beer drinker there, and he don't like hoppy. I brought him some Oktoberfest and he was happy. Not hoppy.
