YesIs the attic insulated? I remember that doing that made a huge and noticeable difference in my first house 38 years ago.

i can't believe your boiler can't make/circulate hot enough water to keep the house warm.
do all the baseboards get hot?
bled the air out of the system (or flushed the air) this year?
does the boiler shut down while the circulator is still running? (if so, something is up with the aquastat if the water isn't over 200, or the circulator)
something is up - age only makes them less fuel efficient than current models, unless something is broken.
also, check if the baseboard fins are clogged with pet hair/dust bunnies (hit with shop vac)
Haven’t flushed the air. I need to try that. I haven’t heard the boiler shut off with the circulator still running. Can the circulator pump be weak? It is a 5 zone system. Baseboards are clean as well.
I watched some videos on bleeding the air out of my system but they all had bleed valves on each baseboard. Mine does not. How else can I bleed the system?
March. The month of Suck.
I’m not a huge zwift fan but when all else fails just zwift. Atleast you’ll burn some stress away.Agreed.
I probably should go around the house licking stuff cause if I do get the stomach bug I could lose a few pounds without having to work for it. That's one option.
If all else fails yes. I don't mind zwifting but I want to be into it. If I'm not I see no point so I'd rather spend that time doing anything else.I’m not a huge zwift fan but when all else fails just zwift. Atleast you’ll burn some stress away.
In those type of conditions you don't really get comfortable, you just try not to fall. Until a nice trail is beaten in, xc skiing is more or less snow-shoeing with skis on, but the more you do, the more comfortable you get.The snow was crusty on top and still fairly deep. I have to get more miles in so I can be comfortable and look like I know what I'm doing.
Ok it’s good to know it just want me it was partly the conditions too. Breaking trail was fun but like you said it was hiking with a little gliding thrown in.In those type of conditions you don't really get comfortable, you just try not to fall. In Union Co. we had about 4-5" of wet snow Sunday night, which drained down, compressed and made a perfect base for skate skiing. By afternoon the top is soft enough for a ski to bite and provide tracking.

Good luck with NICA.
How'd the meeting go? Good turnout?
