Someone talk me off the ledge of buying a fat bike! Feeling the urge to spend $ I don’t have!
The embarrassment when someone sees you riding it....not worth it.
put that money you don't have towards not paying off your bills first- you will not thank me later.
Buy one, have fun, life is too fucking short
If you have to ask for others to intervene, then you know it's wrong.
It is a good idea to seek group support here.
The theory: N+1 doesn't help in this instance.
ask Santa for one for christmas.
Are you like Frank, Jim, etc and just love riding the fat bike all year round?
Or do you just want to buy one as a n+1 bike that will only come out to ride in the snow?
If the former...yes buy one....If the latter...buy a plastic sled and a team of huskys.
Just a little stinker
Oh so true. If it makes you feel better, have fun, or puts a smile on your face, go for it!
There are some funny replies here! I already have a fully 27.5.
Trying to justify a 4th bike. I’ll go rake some leaves and clean things.
Only your 4th?
I still don't have a fat bike, tho...
This really isn’t the place to come to when asking “do I really need another bike?”
Who the f&@$ wants a fatbike?
Jimmy rides one, and so should you
Buy a used one. If you don't like it, you can sell it without losing much money
Man, how can you make it through that?!
when i come to a purchase im on the fence about, i think about cost per enjoyment time. realistically think about the time you will spend enjoying it divide by the cost and you have cost per hour or per minute, is this fat bike that may cost 1500 bucks worth the 15hrs of riding this winter costing $100 an hour?
