mustang gt's were available in 4cyl turbo from 1979 to 1984 but they are always forgotten. IIRC most gt's in 80-81 were 4cyl as the 5.0 was not available those years. Some horrid piece of crap 255 was.

Nice you can get magnetic shocks on the GT and ecoboost...thats a pretty nice upgrade. Id still buy a gt350 if I could afford one....maybe there will be a slight chance that you can find a gt350 this year without the ADM stuff given the new GT. Wouldn't bet on it though...speculation on any "special edition" mustang is always crazy.
I mean look at this...1993 cobra R...Granted they only made 107 of them, but at 240hp...its certainly nothing special by todays standards.... bid up to $95,000 and no sale...New in the wrapper still or not, that is goddam mad money for any stock fox body.

Mike go for it. I built one with everything I would want (basically fully loaded with manual tranny) and it came in over $50K! Curious tho as to what the Performance Pack 2 will be that's coming out later.

First thing, I'll wait until the Toyota is due which isnt soon. second - I'll buy a used one, 3 years old or newer, under 45k mileage and GT model.
I looked real quick and can get one for roughly 25k.

Shelby GT350 pickup in pennsy is still on for Monday, Nov 6, tho the car isn't there yet. Longest "in transit" status ever.
