i think we use the south lot - it is the first right after the toll booth. close to scuba, can't miss us.

Close, scuba lot is just to the left of the dropped pin.
Scuba training is done right at the bottom of the pic. There should be a trailhead sign near the lot side away from the water.

no. it is a disaster up there this year.
rideable, sure. should we, probably not. besides, the boardwalks are slippery, and even worse with wet leaves.

expect a solid 3 hours. we are going to ride the crap out of the place.

RV is up-and-down. non-tech single track. nothing is flat.
it is a serious 18 miles that will take 3 hours. if you recover fast, the climbs always lead to a dh which lead to a climb.

there is a tech section we will hit - but not that long. there are also some hike-a-bike sections, not horrible.

My first time there, a few years back, it was a 5 hr ordeal. Was another year before I went back...

I have done 20 miles on 2 occasions. Most of my rides are a brisk 14 to 15 mile ride.

it goes up, just not straight up! We need one more switchback to make the saddle.
