What have you done to your bike today?

you should name the bike Red Horse after the other San Miguel beer,
it's equally as sucky as the parent brand

Tandem project continued
- Filed out the hole previously drilled into the cut off stub of pedal stuck in one of the cranks. Removed spindle material until the peaks of the crank thread could be seen, and then managed to essentially unspool the spindle thread as though it were a long twisty wire.

- Polished cranks with dremel. Finished cleaning up the chainrings, and installed the cranks back on the frame. Also mounted chain guard bracket posts. Need to source a nut for the chain tensioning jockey wheel.

- Generic Bell white wall tires acquired. Unfortunately I only located 1 of a few 26" tubes I thought I had around. Will mount the front eventually. Adjusted wheel tension and true on the set last week. Not perfect, but good enough for what I'm working with (might still have a small hop). Weight-wise let's just say both are very boat anchor-like.

Had to refine my SS set up.
The cups are to worn on the narrow ends and the gear would stay loose.
The cassette lock nut would bottom out on the hub body before it tightened everything up.

How did you get the lock nut on the flared end? That looks like it shouldn't work, and I also have those spacers. I have a bunch of regular spacers you can borrow for SSaP if you need, unless this works out.

I'm going to test it Wednesday or Thursday. It should be fine. Only has to last 40 miles then it will be a geared bike.

Wheels!
30mm rims look like a + bike
Thanks WF

Capable of rolling now. Got the fork thread extended to accommodate the frame and cut down to the size of the original. Settled on another older fork. Looks ok, but may end up changing for a similar modem replica down the line. Still a lot of rust cleaning and assembly to go.

new project to replace the Lenz Leviathan, carbon wheels coming tomorrow but will be converting a set of Stans to 142.
Bike looks like it was ridden once or twice then left to get dusty for a year or two. I'll post a finished photo tomorrow.

the reverb dropper appears to be locked down. How do I get it to rebound?

There is a speed adjust knurl at the end of the thumb trigger. Check to see if that is locking it down.
