Your PC/device needs to be repaired?????

You need windows install USB to boot from to run the repair tools if the option for pressing F1 for recovery environment doesn't work. You need another computer to make the install USB tho.
 
You should be able to create a boot flash drive with recovery tools on another system.

F1 didn't get you there?

It can see the SSD, so there is hope!

Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? Been trying to get the USA to do that as well...
 
Managed to get to command prompt. Running chkdsk. This could take hours and leave me in the same place. One step closer to a new laptop.
 
create tools/restore flash drive - it is difficult to work on the drive you booted from.
 
No one thinks to create the USB boot driver till this happens. I have one for each of my computers, after a similar incident years ago . Told my kids to do the same but to no avail. They'll be sorry some day... Hope you backed up your drives

Had to remove the bottom to access. This just confirms it’s time to shop for a replacement.

On 4 of the 10 screws the brass inserts just spun and broke out of the chassis.

Ssd reseated and no change.
