I got another 3 years out of a broken plastic ratchet strap on Specialized MTB shoe using gorilla glue.

lol I threw a pair of shoes away yesterday... it was probably exactly what you need.

The zip ties were actually holding the sole on, but same difference...

Looks like around .5". But I feel like it would still work if the buckle was bigger, or I can trim if smaller.
