Winter riding

I admit all of this sounds rrrrreeeaaalllll tempting. I read all the SoCal stuff and have been reading the stuff on mtbr for a few days. Im a little bothered by the fact that some folks are already doing "home repairs" on faulty soldering and only a 90 day warrenty.

yea yea..just buy it.:getsome:
two issues to consider are:
A) Use extra velcro on the battery pack when attaching it. (this is why one of the guys is resoldering his pack on mtbr. Fell off the bars into the wheel)
B) The battery pack is NOT waterproof.

I still haven't used my lights so they could totally suck for all I know:hmmm:

you should bring it buy my house tonight and we can go in the field across the street and compare it to my Stella.

You can then help me change diapers

I'm allergic to baby's....Sorry😀
Sittin home wit the woman tonight...for once.

On the same token as threadjacking over to MagicShine, I got mine today, looks awesome and I could not wait to take it out and snap some pictures at 1130pm. Its effin' bright.

NOTE: I have to apologize for the shape my house is in, I was getting the dishes done. The battery pack is just strapped on and the top tube might be a good spot. The last image is shot in pitch dark with the camera in one hand and the bike on the shoulder, so sorry for the blur. The beam spot is about 500 feet down.

>>>>IMPORTANT: The lights are sold out as of now over at GMG. <<<<

Whatever you do, be sure to spend the extra $10 bucks or whatever it is, and get them from Geoman and not Dealexteme (I buy plenty of cheaper lights and things from DX, but I wouldn't buy something of this price range from them).

If there were ever an issue, you'll have a much easier time of getting it handled as apposed to DX, plus Geoman ships much faster.

A couple quick notes that may be helpful:

A lot of guys that want to mount it on their helmets automatically buy the helmet mount, but for a lot of helmets it's not needed. So look at your helmet and see if you have a vent down the center. If so, you can mount it to one of the cross bars on that center vent just using the rubber O-ring you would use on your handlebars.

Lastly, when you're using it, and you want to turn it off, just hold the button in for about 2 seconds and it will shut off. In other words you don't have to cycle through all the modes to get to "off".
I bring this up because on last nights night ride, several people had new magicshines and I noticed everyone cycling through all the modes to shut it off when we stopped to rest.
When I told them they didn't have to do that, they were all like "ooohhhh, that's awesome, I didn't know that!".

Oh and sorry to have aided in this thread hi-jack😱
