Who felt it?

At work in Carteret I didnt notice it but other people here did. Bummed i missed it.

I was in city and honestly thought it was my past well a you know lifestyle creeping over me...

From Neptune Township, the town that had us snowed in for 4 days during the xmas blizzard, we get a call an hour later saying "there is a confirmed earthquake. Please evacuate your building now..." just paid my property tax bill yesterday. On time.

felt it in rockaway mall. I was in target and the shelf started to sway back and forth. thought someone was pushing on the walls

Felt it 17 stories up in downtown NYC. As we all flooded the stairs I didn't really love the feeling. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Facebook posts actually helped make sense of it. We kinda put it together but the FB posts about the epicenter and such made everyone feel a little better. Then people started talking about 9/11 and aftershocks and I went home because I'm a big ***** when it comes to large buildings and earthquakes.

I was in a single story building and exited....not a puss for leaving a 17 story building. It reminded me of waiting for the 7 train to get to my stop from Shea Stadium....those tressles always moved like that.

Felt the shaking in Toms River, was a strange feeling in my office. Sometimes I get a vibration from an emergency generator, but this was something totally different, we all evacuated as well.

Pat and I were kayaking at Island Beach SP ,oblivious to it all...err I mean riding the tsunami......😀

went outside when it happened, dude down the street with headphones on his mower had no clue, lol. wonder if we'd notice bombing down some singletrack....was anyone on the bike???

I was working in Jackson, leaning on the work bench reading some paperwork then started to wonder why this 24ft bench was wobbling, backed up off the bench and i was still wobbling!Talk about a weird feeling. 2 seconds later i hear WTH from the back of the warehouse because all of our racks were swaying.

Damn it! All my life I lived in NJ and I miss the one possible earthquake. I've slept through 2 earthquakes in my life on the west coast. I kinda want to feel one as I'm awake and aware. This time, I was in the car, driving home from CT; didnt feel it there. Then again, had the radio turned up and wasn't on the smoothest road, so it could have been a combination of the rough road and the bass from the radio... daahh whatever...

I hope no one got hurt...
