I ended up clipping and killing 32 pandas... Though I was able to remove one with a vise grip reverse thread as you mentioned. But really so much more effort. I'm sure nobody wanted to build a new wheel with the 819sBring it by, I have the tool. Heads up that if you buy the tool to do it yourself the inserts are reverse threaded.

That system actually intrigued me, I would have made a point of removing the spokes without damaging the spokes/nipples...meh.I ended up clipping and killing 32 pandas...
