What have you done to your bike today?

Put on a new to me used rear tire (nobby nic). Went on pretty smooth, but I noticed it's wobbling a bit when spinning it. Will that go away when I ride on it, or did I mess up seating it?

Yes, it will go away as you won't see it wobbling.

Wheel is true? Lol, good one

So, how would you expect the tire not to wobble?

Somewhat of a joke. But the wobble looks more like the rubber (likely seated it poorly).
The casing can be deformed both from the manufacturing process or due to a hit. Tried both. I'm actually waiting on a warranty claim for a tire that came wobbling straight from the factory (so to speak), re-seated 3 times on a brand new built and trued wheel to no avail.

Upon further inspection, it does wobble at a point where my rim is out of true, so gonna try and fix that later. I also repumped it as it lost air overnight and it actually looks a bit better now, so might just not have had it seated well enough. Definitely excited to get out on it as it's replacing a 2.2 Ikon. Grip city, here I come.

after pulling down the SS and juicing the tires. Took it out for a shakedown.

Hosed it off when I got home and realized what thought was a BB problem turned out not to be. Can't kill those SKF BBs. Turns out my beautiful middleburns are at the end. The square taper are worn. I fixed with some seltzer can shims and may need another 2.
Swapped 21 cog for 20 cog. This is where i plan to stay, no more heman BS. Threw in some metallic pads on the front and broke out my 30 year old park chain cleaner. Probably the oldest Park tool I own.

Here's a pro tip. Garage door handle makes for a good bike stand 🙂

Installed a fresh set of rotors and a new dropper post. PNW rainier 170 mm drop thanks to @JimN for the recommendation. I didn't realize how bad my old seat post was until I installed this new one. Plus the extra 20 mm of drop is really helpful in the tech.
