Re-nippled the rear wheel. Made a mistake building it up with Sapim spokes/DT (aluminum) nipples, been creaking for months. Finally fixed it. Is it my imagination, or are Sapim's nipples anodized better?

Put it on the ground and step on the side of the tire... She'll come loose.Getting there.............someday........................maybe...
Both tires were on and still holding pressure this morning. Apparently there was a flaw in my tape job on the front though, and it is a complete wash. Working on starting over, but this tubeless bead lock is so snug that the tire won't budge. Basically may end up costing me a tire, assuming I lose my mind and hack it off the rim😕
LIAR!!!😉...Seriously though, I was able to stand and bounce on the thing without a hint of it coming loose. Forget burping a tire. It's either going to be a puncture or another blowout thru the rim holes. Extra wrap of everything in order to sure up the rim seal. Worked for the rear, so hopefully it works again.Put it on the ground and step on the side of the tire... She'll come loose.
As requested. No ride in yet, so we'll see how they fare, but still holding air and the tape is definitely more solid.Where's the "after" photo?

I stripped one of the screws on my big front ring while converting my ibis to 1x10, drilled the suckered out and luckily the bolts on the little ring were the same length to install my 30t race face chainring. Changed my specialized henge seat to a fizik aliante (thanks @jimvreeland ) removed the front dérailleur and changed my stem. Tomorrow is testing day to see if 30t up front and 11-36 in back is sufficient for my slow ass
Regreased the BB and crank on my fake road bike and regreased all of my SPD pedals. Greasy. Put some Conti slicks on it yesterday, went for a ride, and instantly PR''d almost every segment of the rail trail. What a difference.
