Finally built up and mounted the carbon gravel wheel project I've been procrastinating on. Used the 25 ID I9 rims I didn't love for XC and DT 350 hubs. 2(!!) lbs lighter than the stock wheels that came with the bike.
Desperately needed a new rear tire so giving the new Schwalbe Radial tires a try. Has anyone used these yet?
I’ll post back my impressions after a few rides in different terrains.
FTFY
Is this your 1st Lefty? If not, how long ago was it?
Why ultra soft vs soft for the rear? Thinking ultra for front and regular soft for rear would be a complimentary combinationDesperately needed a new rear tire so giving the new Schwalbe Radial tires a try. Has anyone used these yet?

Ocho with the single crown makes that possible. Still have 2 bikes with dual crown Lefty's in my garage. 1 being a Lefty 2.0 with the offset axle on my SScalpel. This is the 1st Scalpel Chassis that I can get my fit numbers on. The old Scalpel was too tall in the front. Even with this one I have the bar mounted upside-down.
Are you allowed to ride that?
lab71 is a 120mm Ocho. There are other models with the 100mm Ocho. Also the newer Scalpels look like the rear shock linkage has changed. Are you allowed to ride that?
Only the lab71 comes with a lefty now right? I think the rest come with a fox.

Is it just me or is that stack height very high?
First impressions: definitely feel some rolling resistance especially on the road. Its actually less noticeable in the trails but still there.Desperately needed a new rear tire so giving the new Schwalbe Radial tires a try. Has anyone used these yet?

I ride Wildcat mostly and have found the softer Hans Damphf grip the techy rock climbs the best historically. Plus that was the only compound available. I’m waiting for the Magic Mary in radial to be available for the front. I usually run a Magic Mary in Addix soft up front. Why ultra soft vs soft for the rear?
