What have you done to your bike today?

Most people are clueless and couldn’t find their own butt with a map and a flash light. I have never found recommend settings close to what really works. The factory recommended settings always seem to be more suitable for Red Bull rampage or bike paths.

Very true. I find that RS typically calls for too much pressure in their recommended settings.
 
So uh, the Company I work for decided to retract their EP Program and took back the bike I bought last week. So as a result I found a competitor’s bike online and bought that instead. Came with an XTR group and brake set so I stripped it and am waiting for parts to build it up…

Al out war then...nice looking bike. I 'almost' bought a similar one back in Italy to keep at mom's when I visit, then I remember I don't even ride anymore when I'm actually home so it was a no go, but I definitely dig it.

The Bike Industry is a dumpster fire right now. The good thing is everything everywhere is 80% off so it's not like getting Industry Pricing even matters anymore.

So um, unrelated to your predicament, is your shop still owned by the Big S?

They bought out two bike shop locations from the original owner down here during Covid. After a few years figured out they're not good at the bike store business, sold them to another shop in the region.

We are. When the Company fired 60% of their Staff a few years ago, those shops rebelled and everyone walked out and left them empty. After a few months of trying to fill positions they gave up and sold the stores.
 
This is as far as I can get until next week.

XX1 and tire swap. I have a stem/bar on the way to get the front end where I need it. Currently setup XC with like a 700mm bar and 100mm stem. I have an Absolute Black ring coming, a pair of the new 4 piston Level Ultimates. Gonna run an AXS Reverb with Blips instead of a remote because there’s already a Sprint Lever where the remote would go. Also have a Power Mirror Saddle so should be pretty pimp.
