What have you done to your bike today?

Took off the kickstand before a ride...

So... I finally bought an e-bike. A used 2021 Specialized Levo SL from an old friend who had upgraded to the current model.

It looks really nice:

And has a lot of nice upgrades: 2023 Fox 36 (160mm). GX AXS. Cascade link to bump travel up to 155mm.

I've had it about a week and finally got it over to Neshaminy to get used to it. It's a size M and I normally ride size L bikes (Spot and Megatower). But I figured being a year newer than the Spot and if I swapped out the 35mm reach stem for a 50mm reach, it would be fine.

I was wrong.

It feels so short... scary short. Not sure what to do other than put it back up for sale. Unless maybe someone has a line on a L front frame section...

On the plus side, the few times I was able to use it like an e-Bike, it was fun. Mainly the climbs where I could put it in Turbo and pedal like mad. I was still working: hit a max HR of 187 - but just flying up the hill was so fun.
Update.
So... I did the digging I should have done before I bought the bike. It turns out a 2021 Specialized size Medium is closer to a size Small in some other brands. At least as far as the reach number is concerned. So compared to my current bikes:

2021 Levo SL - M - 435mm reach
2020 Spot Ryve 115 - L - 478mm reach
2019 Santa Cruz Megatower - L - 470mm reach.

Looking at the numbers, the M Levo is closer to a Small Ryve 115 (428mm) than even a Medium (453).

No wonder the bike feels so small to me. Ce la vie...

Next step is to return it back to as-bought condition and get it up for sale. Then my search for an e-Bike continues... Although looking at the latest offerings, they are definitely getting a lot closer to the specs I want.

Wow, that is tiny. Even for a bikes before long reach and slacker HT/steeper ST about 2018/9.

The Reverb AXS is a nice dropper, but it's definitely not light. And I'm still surprised SRAM hasn't come out with a 200mm version. Pretty sure it would sell like hotcakes. I know I'd buy one...

@Carson is going to go nuts with the wheel/frame gap being so large!

Can you run a disc rear in track?

Is this set up for pursuit? or any old track event?

and yeah, amazing.
