What have you done to your bike today?

Quick shakedown ride yesterday, my goodness what a difference. So much more power and consistency. Considering selling my Code RSC's for the DHR Evo's next. Just waiting for the matchmaker adapters to clean up the cockpit.
I'm also a trp fanboy but could never get along with their matchmaker adapters . Pretty much my only gripe with any of my trp setups

Finally got some good feels on my newish propain . Slightly taller bar . Topaz air shock .

Put Elsa in Spring mode. Providing 90% of the Fat Bike content is getting spendy, but damn do those Van Helgas POP!! 🤣

I need to swap the rear cog to an 18t for the little tires and take the frame bag off. Probably do that tonight. I needed to pull this AXS rear end off for my STR, which also needs the Red crank off my track bike. Also need to put this Mirror saddle back on the Crux and we should have the stable back up and running...

The vain side of me hates having miss matched suspension but dvo shocks are legit good , this is my 3rd on different bikes and was really happy with all of them . Also easily tunable and i can fully service it at home so .
No need to convince me. I ordered Joy a bike today with that shock.

The fact that it's so easy to work on and get parts is really nice.

Before this shock it was meh at best . I'm also trying to make it as poppy as my evils , witch is probably not obtainable. On the flip side it pedals extremely well especially over square edged bumps , it just goes . Overall happy with it

I'm building up one of these with a dvo coil, how do you think that'll ride? More of a tech than jump guy.

Bought a TLD helmet on super sale (more than 50% off last year's model), but unfortunately came with a broken plastic screw on one side of the visor. They are brittle plastic and meant to break off during a crash. Had to drill the it out and now it's all good. I use any excuse to play with tools. lol

Tyee Build in it's beginning stages:

PXL_20230303_122335841.jpg

  • Installed Wheels Mfg Bottom bracket
  • DVO Jade Coil
  • DVO Onyx SC D1 (Had to drop the travel to 170mm)
  • Industry Nine A35 Stem

Total build cost thanks to the frame being $1800 is going to be ~$6,000. Should be a ridiculously good bike for that price too.
