in Chicago for a training, and getting a tour from a friend from HS who is now a brewer here.
I feel like @elzoller may have been at at least one of these- ?
First one (Maplewood) I never would have found.
Really enjoyed their haze.
And burger.
And getting the tour with a brewer, there are some shots involved.
Mostly stuff (intentionally) not fit for human consumption.
Underberg: basically if vegetarians made jagermeister.
Metropolitan Brewing:
Malort.
Exactly what you would expect radioactive zombie vomit to taste like.
Except angrier.
Looking forward to Monday.

That’s terrible news. Wouldn’t want to risk sharing any spoiled beers so I’ll keep for research purposes and report on quality status periodically. No need for thanks, I’m just glad no one out there will be harmed.
