What beer are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

When I was in Fuzhou, we mainly drank Tsingtao or Kingway. I personally preferred Kingway, though either is not bad if you can get them cold enough without adding ice. 😀 Think drinking warm Miller Lite!.

Don't even get me started on the Scotch and Green Tea mixes that are big in the clubs. 😱

I go to China once or twice a year either for personal or business, craft beers have really picked up in the last 3 years, though they aren't even where we were 7-8 years ago because it's still perceived as a trend and not a new culture. As I was speaking with @soundz and @jmanic yesterday, we don't even want to drink the beers that were good a few years ago, even last year. When's the last time you bought a Sculpin? The die has been cast, we can't go back.

I'll write up something soon about drinking culture in Asia, it's really f'd up by the way.

It takes 2-4 months between logistics, container freight, quarantine and distribution.
get on board, no one here drinks 4-5 month old beers

that's why you need the OHs of this world to go there and make beer

Despite the Bklyn zip code, I am not gaga over their stuff. I recall having one I liked, maybe a good deal, but more misses than hits for me.

Another from the OH trifecta this past weekend. Not sure exactly what they were going for, but it's tough to live up to the bar they have set recently with all the DDH brews. 3.75 on the OH scale, which is prolly like an 8.0 on other metrics.
