What beer are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

Founders had a tap take over at Paragon in Clark last night. Of course they were out of KBS when I got there so I started off with a Breakfast Stout then had there Imperial red IPA. What I liked most about this beer was its complex dank aftertaste. Bold, flavorful and different. Like.

So I went to a local bar/beer store, they have a mediocre selection of beer. I know in the big cooler room they keep some odd beer and split packages. So I go in and look them over and then I ask if I can make up a six pack of my own choice, he says sure. So I do and I get charged $2.50 per beer X 6 = $15 which I thought was OK. Here's what I got: Harpoon UFO pumpkin ale, Ommegang Hennepin, Founders Dark Penance, Founders ALL DAY IPA, Tommyknocker Butt Head Bock Lager, Robinsons Family Iron Maiden Trooper.

My first choice was the Founders Dark Penance, 8.9%. I really liked this one and plan On buying it again!
 
Tonight it's the Founders All Day IPA. I cracked it open and said yuk... but not one to discard a beer I jumped right in. Two chugs later I was lovin' it! I've gotta remember this scenario, it's not the first time it's happened. I balk at the start and wind up happy.

It's a solid session beer. You can literally drink it all day without getting drunk.
