The night is not over. Somehow, I was the only person left it the bar and got into a conversation with Joe the manager and he was talking up this beer the Rueze brewed by The Bruery from Placentia, CA. I actually shared a bit of it with Joe and the cute female Asian bartender who I found out was trying to finish up her thesis for hotel management or something like that, I can't remember too good because I may have one too many beers. Anyways, cute girls are not very important, only beer is, and Joe says he is into sour beers these days, and I am sort of digging it because I always into stuff that is unusual - I mean take a look at my bike. So yeah, I tried the 25oz Rueze which cost $29 (too bad the owner guy was not there to pick up my tab). I think it must have been worth it because I enjoyed it very much along with the conversations with Joe and the cute Asian bartender. Before, I type too much more, I will just finish off this post with a few photos.
Oh I should also note that he gave me a big sample of Rodenbah Gran Cru which is another sour beer and supposed to be one of favorites of Michael Jackson (probably not the singer) RIP, or something like that. I mean it must be good because it gets a 95% from Beer Advocate.
