What are you watching now?

Just watched the Christopher Reeve special.
Wow. it takes you all over the emotional map.
Really good - we see it every day in small doses.
What a difference a person with a platform (influencer?) can make.

Attitude.

Just had a guy I know have routine hip surgery. He was a successful athlete as a young person, and successful educator.
It went bad.
Having his car retrofitted for hand controls, and his response was life goes on, just means I'm not running after you.

This triggered.....

getting an urge for a Robin Williams movie again.
Watched Garp, Birdcage, and GWH already this year.
While I love The Fisher King, don't think I want to go that dark.
Also don't want to go too fantasy funny (Jumanji, or Ms Doubtfire)

Dead Poets Society

Awakenings

One Hour Photo

vs
Jacob the Liar

dont't think i've seen the less popular ones -
World's Greatest Dad or Angriest Man

I'm not sure where Good Morning Vietnam fits...

Anyone else have a favorite not listed? He's probably been in 100+ movies
Best support in Night at the Museum set!

Good night sweet Princes....
I am lucky to have been here at the same time.

Just watched the Jamie Foxx special on Netflix.

I’ve always been a fan of his from his days back on In Living Color.

He certainly told his story in a way only he can, and without giving too much away plenty of funny mixed in with some real deep moments.

Forgot how talented a singer and piano player he really is IRL. Glad he’s back on two feet for him and his family.

World’s Greatest Dad is such a great dark comedy, totally underrated. Directed by Bobcat Goldthwait (yes, that guy)

Netflix stuff:

Wife and I started watching White Collar - older series but some pretty good story lines.

I am watching the new Senna series (not the documentary) even though its got subtitles its pretty good, and makes the Zwift time go by pretty quick on days I just need to recover and spin.

Looking forward to watch the movie Carry On with Jason Bateman as a bad guy. Trailers look great and oldest son said he's half way thru it and its really really good.

A Complete Unknown went on New years day eve. If your a fan of Dylan or not the movie far exceeded my expectations. I wanted to clap at least 6 times during the finish of the songs you felt as if you were there. Chalamet performance was incredible and the rest of the cast was dynamic. The sound track and music choices were great.
What I took away was Dylan was a genius and one complicated man.

Not a fan, but looking forward to watching. Many of the "Newport, RI" scenes are actually Cape May.
