image.jpeg Country style ribs boiled in a ton of founders all day ipa then Cooked low and slow in my own bbq sauce. Macaroni salad on the side. I have some sweet corn on the cob that I was supposed to cook with it but had a few to many to drink and forgot.

Air conditioners came out today, so it must be chili season.

Even sacrificed a bottle of Bell's Java Stout for each. That's love.

image.jpeg Spinach artichoke pizza.

I've made dozens and dozens of pizzas, but never a single one without a tomato-based sauce until this. It was very good! First ingredient on top of the dough was a spread of roasted garlic and oil. Just roasting the garlic made the whole house smell awesome.

Brisket and ribs have been in the smoker since 6am. Ribs for lunch, and brisket for dinner. Hickory and apple smoke filling the neighborhood with yum. In-laws are on the paleo life style, so this fits in - meat good.
So I better get a trainer ride in today to make room.
Have some milk stout and love stout chilling as well.

Got a PSMO from Wegmans and had at it. All cleaned up - a little olive oil, salt, pepper. Let sit out, so it dries, and comes up to room temp.
Going on the gas grill. i'm too lazy to start a real fire. Got a big group coming over, so the side roast is going on too.
The chain gets saved for the chef...philly cheese steaks baby!

Seafood Mac-n-Cheese.

Maybe you've been in a restaurant, and this has been on the "specials" - it is probably because they
had lobster left over, and lobster bisque wasn't the right soup for the other items on the menu.

anyway - had some store bought mac, because of a mistake. it wasn't good - no spice, esp salt.
so fired up some onions/garlic added some colby and mystery cheese from the bin. nutmeg, paprika, panko bread crumbs
butter (mmm) thyme, lobster, and crab claw meat. softened the garlic and onions, folded it all together - threw some
breadcrumbs over the top with more butter and some paprika.

it now goes in the oven (tomorrow) - gets bubbly and yummy, and then chowed down - its only getting up in the
60s tomorrow in florida, so need some solid winter comfort food.
