Western Monmouth County Trail Build

We're digging tomorrow, come join us!

The trail tweaks continue, carving out some sweet turns. The weather is great for trail work, not too hot. We have a lot of plans for Perrineville, come help us make it happen.

Trail tweaks continue on Mine Hill. We've been focusing on making some of the turns flow more.

Typically we'll open up the radius of a turn like this. It's a bit tight and doesn't line up great with exit point.

We rerouted this line with a wider radius and better entry and exit point to allow for more speed through the turn.
The old line is to the left of the new line. The old line was too straight, we made sure the new line had a continuous sweeping arc.

The same trail looking back. We hogged out almost a 2' cut to provide inslope and drainage at the low point.

The soil is dry but not terrible, it will improve with rain. We did a ride test afterwards and were pleased with results, More Flow!

Thanks Bob, @SAM , Austin, and Mark. We work every Wednesday from 9am-12pm. Our next Saturday Build & Ride is 10/26 from 9am-12pm. Please come out and help us, we have a lot of plans for this park.

Hey folks, come join us on the trails tomorrow at Perrineville.

It's too dry to dig, the plan is to cut back invasives growing along Midway trail. Cutting back vegetation is not as sexy as trail building, but it still needs to be done and it makes the trail look much nicer.

10/26 Saturday- Perrineville Trail Pruning
9am-12pm, bring bike to ride Afterwards.
