I musta got lost loop
Rookie mistake. Put the largest tires that supposed to fit on the Diverge. Ended up when it’s real hot out. They pump up and rub the frame. Had no pep today. But when I went to roll the bike into garage at end of ride. The rear tire was dragging cause it was pinned to the frame. Already dropped off to get slimmer tires put on.
Post ride recovery
And Micay passed her driving test

My dinner. Muscles in Green Sauce and Filet Mignon with Garlic Potatoes. And maybe some wine. The Daughter wanted Spanish Tavern for passing driving test. Who am I to disappoint her?

Today WE rode for Uncle Jerry, the tale of 3 gray beards. Another ride with someone who WAS a stranger until chatting on this forum, and I now consider a friend. It’s amazing how cool mountain bikers are.
So I met @xtrpureguts at Allaire this morning for a meet/greet ride. Luckily it was a beautiful day and it’s so cool to see the park slowly transition from gray to green!
Bonus treat was running into @Juggernaut who joined us for the rest of the ride. Gray beards rule!!
Don, it was so cool to hear the story of Uncle Jerry, he sounds like he was an amazing character who probably had a million stories to tell at a campfire. Thanks for sharing your family pics with us on this thread, so badass!!!
And thanks for a splendid ride gents, it enjoyed the hell out of it….now I need a nap.

Uncle Jerry Fun Fact Friday:
Jerry served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked on a supply ship the supported the North Atlantic Destroyer fleet. It was the ship the Admiral stayed on. One weekend in Newport. They had a big event for the locals that was heavily covered by the press. They had a band and local dignitaries on deck as several destroyers came past to salute the Admirals ship. One of the destroyers had a mechanical and collided with the supply ship.
