*** Vtc Events ***

I figured this would come up eventually.

On Tommy D, I said that whenever he came out of this thread, he was gone. It's just anti-everything that keeps a message board in check, and the fact that TJ openly says that he does this shit to start trouble doesn't help his argument. Every other message board in the world bans sock puppets. I was wrong to allow it past day 1 in the first place.

I did not ban EABODS.

You can go ahead and ask Bill & Jake who did, and more importantly, why. And if you can explain to me why that's actually acceptable behavior as a human being, and make a legit case, then I'll see what I can do. I'm guessing that like Bill & Jake, the answer you will give me is something along the lines of, "Yeah, I can't really justify that."

Re: Tommy D...Like I said, I get it. I thought we were all having fun with it, which is why I re-posted your video (hysterical). But hey, it's your site and your prerogative not to have SP's. ‘Nuff said.

As for EABODS, I wasn't suggesting that you personally banned him. I know you have other folks that run the site with you.
I didn't know the rest of the story that you're referring to when I last posted, but I do now. It sounds to me like a combination of misunderstanding and misinformation, and the timing of it all is more than a little suspect. That said, the events of that story are really none of my business, so I'm gonna shut the hell up, and ride my bike. I'll leave it to you guys to sort out. I hope EABODS get reinstated... he's part of the reason why this is the second most viewed thread on the forums.

Let me clarify. My tolerance for TommyD disappeared when you guys stole Bill from the team. That was also the rock that rolled downhill and triggered an avalanche. The 2 events are not unrelated but in a different way than you think (at least I think).

Everyone Loves Raymond was one of the most popular shows ever.

This issue was solved today but TJ refuses to play. I hesitate to break it down in real simple terms but I'm tired of this now so if you want, I will. This really has nothing to do with me, but yet again, here I am in the middle. I'm tired and irritated and it's after 2:00 am. But I do like & respect you Gordon, so I'll continue to answer your comments and questions.

I'm not sure about anyone stealing riders. 😕

I can't speak for everyone, but Bill and I have been friends with the guys at Bicycle Tech for decades. Which may have influenced his decision to don the Bicycle Tech Colors. IDK, I can't speak for Bill on that matter.

I do know that TJ wanted to put a 'shop' team together that was more organized, and the shop bought into the idea as well as a few other parties. Thus, BTR/VTC/EMP was born. I was riding for the shop no matter what. So I didn't really get involved in the process.

I must say that Tommy D and EABODS actions (whatever they may be) probably do not represent how other riders for BTR (Bicycle Tech Racing) feel towards anyone or any paticular team. I, for one, prefer to ride my bike, have fun, make friends, and hope to win a few races each season. EABODS may enjoy stiring the pot (a little), and may have even made a mess, but I hope in time that he may be reinstated.

I get it😀

That show was popular, but it sucked!

Just like the VTC EVENTS thread. (Originally just posted rides from my house)

Again Norm! Funny stuff. :hysterica

Keep it coming.

Help! I'm being held against my will. I managed to briefly escape my captors at VTC only to find an old Palm Treo - I think it has -1G connection speed. I'm being held at hidden fenced in compound where I'm forced to ride at least 4 hours per day and get fed great gourmet meals. To keep me riding they have a bottle of Bombay Sapphire on what appears to be some kind of boom. I just keep chasing it around all day. The single track is great but ever once in a while a blow doll in an MTBNJ kit swoops down tackles me. I'm really confused but my riding seems to be improving tremendously. The vitamins and the new chamois cream here are great. Floyd Landis and Tyler Hamilton did stop by the other day for some tips and to drop off some supplies.

Wait, that wasn't the real Tommy Danielson? Wow I'm really disappointed, I thought we had made it to the "big time".

Man every day I'm more and more happy this thread exists. Fuck yes JOY!

Think a new video is in order.

I don't know if I'm ready for this. For sure you are going to have to wait until you have fresh supply of some choco porter or something of such nature.

In spite of the high level of communication abilities we all have I think this situation has all come down to... well

I am going to plan a group ride for all parties and just sort this shit out face to face. We are all good guys just looking to do what we love and have some fun.

Confucius say:
One cannot steal what is aready theirs.

Seinfeld was popular too. So were (are) Hamlet, Kind of Blue, Slaughterhouse Five, The Simpsons, The Godfather etc.

Bring it on! The last one is classic.

Bahahahahaha! Someone picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue!!!

You ever read any Confucius? Like total gibberish. Kind of appropriate to the recent events I guess.

As you were.

Tommy D and EABODS may be gone, but they are certainly not forgotten. Luckily for everyone, The remaining BTR/VTC/EMP team members have been training intensively in the paranormal sciences for the sole purpose of channeling our dear departed friends. These unusual abilities were learned by watching countless hours of Ghost Hunters, Paranormal Files, Ancient Aliens and Finding Bigfoot (plus a few classic SyFy Channel original movies like "Sharktopus").

We have achieved a level of mastery so great that we can now receive detailed telepathic communications from our fallen comrades and share them here. In fact, just today I was contacted by the spirits of both of them, and here is what they wanted to share:

Tommy D:
Mehhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! SaD, SaD, SaDD!!!!!

EABODS:
BTR Team ride this Sat, 10am Waywayonda back gate. Bearscat Loop plus some extra, 4hrs. Medium/fast pace. See ya there bitches!
Oh Yeah...DNIFDMABS, DSIAFHA, TBDJEEOOGR,.....

My celestial connection with EABODS got fuzzy and went dark after that because I was driving up 515 at the time and I get shitty reception there.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for more important extrasensory announcements in the near future.

I didn't get that last refernce until someone linked me to this vid. Don't know I missed it until now.

Great direction. Vaugely reminicent of Kubrick's early work.

As far as the Short Track on Sat. goes...

-Panhead and I are racing Tuscarora in the mud and rain on Sunday so we're resting.
-Roger has taken up residence at a hot new hotel in Manhattan and will be hittin' da' clubs all weekend.
-Kris is doing 120 mile road ride from NYC at an average speed of 26mph..
-Bill is busy building a robotic version of himself that will replace him at work so he can train more.
-EABODS is banned.
-Tommy D. is banned so instead he is in Spain doing the Vuelta a Cataluna, .
-Daniel is busy cooking (mostly for Rog)

So...

We're sending Monte. Get ready bitches!

Good luck at Tuscora, hopefully the course won't be too muddy.

Monte is going to have some good competition tomorrow, we've got quite a line up. Roger should try to make one of these when it starts up again in late summer, its like cx racing only with mtb's.

After many years of observation i have come to the following conclusion: there are (at least) 2 race weekends that are weather-doomed:
The Michaux Mash (now Tuscarora) and the Allamuchy 24h (now 6 hrs) race. It just always rains on those days (well, ok the 24h in 09? was dry but then it became a 12h the year after).
Good luck!

Fer sher. Looking forward to seeing the results on this one.

Who's giving Utah the tainted steaks? He's flying!

Thanks! I've never done the Mash but I've heard the stories. This is a new venue so there's no telling what its gonna be like. If I wasn't chasing points in that series or I had to fly solo, I'd probably bail, given the weather.
You're right on with the Mooch 24 (unless it's dry and dusty) epic bad weather race!
