4 hours in the Mooch is like 6 at most other places. It's a thing of beauty!
Details...Lap length? Is 4hrs. an estimated time of completion or is it one of those "finish before 3:59:59 and you can go out for another lap" type deals?

Yup, 4 hour lap race which will be 5 for some, I imagine. Course is the 2008 24 hour course, since so many people loved that and it was easy given my unfamiliarity with the park and the mounds of white stuff all over making it tough to go scout anything out. It will run from the BSA camp with camping both nights (if you so desire) and the kitchen will be open.

I was hoping for a Six Pack sellout before we opened this one up but not sure that's going to happen. So look for this to open in about a week.

It seems the weather might be changing for Thursday😡

I need to get in some trail riding! BTW, I worked on a couple of the switchbacks on the VTC training loop yesterday. slow, but sure🙂

2008...I think that was the year of the strangely dry and dusty course. That was a really good loop and yeah, relatively easy by Mooch standards. Sounds cool.

Yep, '08 was a great race. I almost drowned in my sleeping bag turned maxi pad in the deluge during the noght in '07.

Wed is looking like the better day for riding....
 
Sweet road ride today with CHO. Hit some of the Sussex Rubaix sections, and some mandatory pain on Glenwood. Fun stuff.

This coming weekend's rides:

Sat - 2-3hr. road ride from VTC studios in Vernon @ 11am
Sun - MTB (weather permitting) - Scouting the route for WJ-palooza from VP's office in Montclair. 4+hrs. Noon start.

That was a way good ride.
Out for Sat, Sun I'm heading onto Waway with Chainsaw and Capers. Going to try to get out today for a couple of hours.
 
Man...this weather is just killing me. 3 days of rain and snow, and 4 more days of rain next week??? F#%K this G&^%$%m Motherf%$*ing B^*$#$T!!!!!
Sat. ride will prob be cancelled and Sun. will prob. change to a road ride. We'll see...this sucks.
