What's next?
Town Hall Cross in Bethlehem, PA. This is an awesome "must do" race that features all types of terrain with the infamous "St. Lukes Staircase".
The Town Hall Cross was a lot of fun for me last year.
I won't be racing yet but I will be cleared to resume training later next week. It will be a pleasure to bring you the racing action. There's not a lot of races next weekend in our area, the Town Hall Cross is a low key event that is growing in popularity. Be There.

Outside of the NJBA Cross Cup, I think the 2012 Mid Atlantic/Northeast Cyclocross schedule is poor. The New England Verge Series and Cycle-Smart International / Shimano Series is thriving.
There are quite a few open dates still remaining.

Wrong place:
This Cat 4 racer is in a bad spot for an unfortunate mechanical. When dismounting sometimes your swing leg can pop off the barrel causing you to lose the rear brakes.
I feature Roger Aspholm whenever possible. He is Cyclocross. Watching him ride is like viewing a "how to" video.

Town Hall Cross
In 2011 the rider turn-out for the Town Hall Cyclocross was just 204 riders, this year that number has more than double. It's no secret that this event in Bethlehem, PA is the place to be for Cross. Today's event was made possible by Lamprey Systems Cycling & St. Lukes Hospital. The 1.45 mile cross spectacular circuit featured the infamous St. Lukes Staircase, super fast downhills, technical off-cambers, 2 sets of barriers and deep ruts ... all things Cross. The following pages are some of the best pictures yet on "Cyclocross Adventures" The hours of shooting at the events, editing, uploading and finally the posting here is well worth the effort. Hope you enjoy it
Around the Race ...
Airing it out ... With 72 Cyclocross races logged since 2008 it has been hard not racing this year. I started riding again last Friday. Anyone who has battled through Lymes disease and it's co-infections I applaud you, it's tough. At the THCX, I brought my race bike to ride around between the races. My target race will be at The Marty's Cross later in October.
The Town Hall Cross is very spectator friendly
Pre-race ruts would make for an exciting day of racing
Lining Up; Pre-race practice laps had the riders washing up
