Vehicle inspections

But I still have 60000+ more warranty miles before it becomes a shitbox. Was hoping to throw a DP on because loud noises, but apparently they pretty much all throw codes with or without o2 spacer/relocators.

The APR one is good. VWs just throw codes. My wife's Jetta is bone stock and throws almost the same codes as my GTI. They just suck like that.

My understanding is you will 100% fail with a catless downpipe. Even without a CEL the system won't come in to ready mode, cannot be checked, and they'll use a mirror to check for a cat.

Catted for sure. I ain’t about that life on a car like this.

You ain't true vee dub bro. Inspection stickers are for squares.

Also, everyone knows you keep all the stock stuff and swap it back on every few years. Turbo back and ECU flash is less than an hour of your time. Then for the next 2 years it's 400hp, flames, and setting off every car alarm in your neighborhood.

I have a normal white new car inspection sticker one I bought my car out of state and had to go to the mvc

yea if you show up with bill of sale or some proof that it was purchased they will do that, i know someone at work that had to do the same thing. Some NY and PA dealers can put the NJ sticker on for you (or so i have been told) at purchase time.

Or... they can "find" and peel a nice white sticker on a two or three year lease return. Good for 2/3 more years.
