Torque wrench suggestions?

Depends on what you're using it for. A simple beam wrench is sufficient for 99% of what a non-professional needs.

If you desire a click or digital, buy one that comes with a calibration certificate. Literally nothing else matters--brand, price, mechanism, etc.

I've used Unior, Snap-On, CDI, Wera, etc, etc. It's all the same, as long as the calibration is current and accurate.

Already having an automotive 1/2 and 3/8 drive wrench, i found they were not very usable for many of the smaller torque values and tight spaces you might need for some of the more delicate aluminum suspension fasteners. I bought a small Syntace unit for bikes that will natively drive a hex bit or a socket with adapter.

The park tool t handle torque driver is also handy for the little stuff in the 3-6 nm range--good for cockpits, clamps and such.

Basically my thought. I have 5 different torque wrenches. Some are easier to use than others as they are small and bike specific, but the "best" is a 1/4" Beam style as it's pretty much always going to be accurate. It's never the one I grab though since it's in a drawer and my 3 other small torque wrenches are on my two benches.

Just looked it up and it's the highly rated Neiko 03727A 1/4-Inch-Drive Beam Torque Wrench

i have the topeak digital, does 4 to 80 nm iirc and has a display which allows you to switch units if desired, worth every penny IMO, it includes a bunch of common sizes and a socket to drive 1/4 hex bits so it hits 99% of what you will need, i also have the park t-handle for quick cockpit type stuff.

(note, definitely didnt pay that much for it, probably around 150 when i picked it up)

I have 2 Craftsman models, 1 for Nm stuff like bars, seatposts, saddles and SS rockers. The other I use for crankarms and car stuff. Last year at the Philly Bike Expo, picked up this.
